DPF for CHEVROLET Captiva Cruze OPEL Antara 2.0 product details
TWG DPFs and DOCs are coated with platinum group metals (PGMs) to match the catalytic activity level of the OEM component. A PGM-coated DPF acts as a hydrocarbon shear catalyst that burns off the excess fuel present during active regeneration. A PGM coated DPF will also have a lower passive regeneration temperature, which can increase the time between active regenerations, saving any additional fuel costs.
There are TWG Exhaust Designs for All Makes and Models and the highest selection of aftermarket DPF and DOCs on the market. Direct fit units feature an OE style design and fit including hangers, flanges and brackets. Stainless steel housing and tubular heat shields for durability. Euro IV-VI standards.
1.V-Band Clamps and Flanges
Use when stainless steel alloy V-band clamps and “V” configuration flanges provide serviceability when periodic cleaning of accumulated unburned ash and unburned particulate matter is required.
2.Heavy Mission Construction
Our diesel particulate filters are ruggedly built and effectively designed to withstand the effects of high heat, vibration, corrosion and impact stress found in severe applications and environments typically typical of mobile underground mining, tunneling and construction equipment applications.
3. Private Links
Our diesel particulate filters are available in a wide variety of inlet/outlet terminations. Any custom flanges, clamps, tailpipes, exhaust elbows, etc. We can supply.
4.Direct Fit Engineering Solutions
The construction design of the Diesel Particulate Filter can be provided in standard or custom configurations capable of replicating OEM engines and OEM exhaust components to provide a convenient fit in crowded engine compartments.
5. High Quality Catalytic Coatings
Our Diesel Particulate Filters feature several high quality bare, precious metal and/or base metal coatings that provide highly efficient oxidation of harmful diesel exhaust gases, vapors and particulate matter emissions. Diesel Particulate Filter coatings provide superior low temperature performance, low PM regeneration temperature requirements and long operating life. The use of NO2 suppression coating technology ensures that harmful diesel exhaust emissions are effectively reduced without increasing NO2 emissions.
The particle filter is only a temporary storage place for soot. A soot filter can only work properly when the regeneration period occurs as often as desired. If the regeneration frequency is disturbed, the soot filter fills up.
Minimum checklist:
- Check and/or replace oil filter
- Check and/or replace air filter
- Check and/or replace spark plug
- Check engine management
- Control additive level, type and quality
- Check oil consumption
- Check the refrigerant consumption
- Check for leaks at the cylinder head gasket
- Check regeneration frequency and efficiency
- Check the quality and capacity of the (pre)catalyst
- Check all sensors (lambda sensors)
- Check EGR valves and system
Additionally, you need to test the following:
- injectors
- pressure
- starter motor and battery
- Emissions test
Do not use sealant in front of the soot filter. Special low ash production engine oil is recommended. Changing the oil is also highly recommended when replacing the catalyst.
Only when all the conditions in the minimum checklist are met can the soot filter do its job properly.
