The interior is supported with a special steel-stone powder blended fiber. The increase in the exhaust gas back pressure reduces the engine efficiency by 3% to 5%. The theory is that with the constrictive porous suction system, the burnt gases are released quickly and the explosion time is accelerated and the lost efficiency is recovered. The burnt gas leaves the system faster than the conventional walled exhaust system, making room for the new air-gasoline mixture.
