Catalytic converters

A catalytic converter, It can be used for a long time when the entire combustion chain operates according to the specifications of the automobile manufacturers. Even the smallest failure in the entire combustion chain will significantly shorten the converter life.

Minimum checklist:

• Check and/or replace the oil filter
• Check and/or replace the air filter
• Check and/or renew receipts
• Check engine management
• Check the turbo
• Check LPG installation (if applicable)
• Check oil consumption
• Check coolant consumption
• Check cylinder head gasket leakage
• Check the exhaust gas mixture
• Check the quality and capacity of the (pre) catalytic converter
• Check all sensors (lambda sensors)
• Check EGR valves and system

Additionally, test the following:

• injectors
• Compression
• Starter and battery
• Emission control

Liquid seal on front of converter Do not use and always make sure that the recommended oil is used. It is recommended to change the oil when replacing the catalytic converter.

Only chain factory When operating according to its specifications, the catalytic converter works as it should.
